Courses that are not currently listed may still be eligible where the training aligns with one of the approved categories below. Funding cannot be guaranteed for training that is started before course approval is confirmed.

The Keystone board have approved the following training categories for the period of 01 July 2025 - 30 June 2026:

*Keystone will fund the nominated percentage of approved course cost, inc. GST for applicants eligible under the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Act 1990.
50-80% Rebate

VET Qualifications

80% of course fee:

  • Certificate IV in Building & Construction (Building)^
  • Certificate IV in Plumbing & Services †
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment**
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety**

50% of course fee:

  • Advanced Diploma of Building & Construction (Building)^^
  • Advanced Diploma of Building & Construction (Management)^^
  • Certificate II in Split Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Systems
  • Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing
  • Certificate IV in Electrical - Instrumentation
  • Diploma of Building & Construction (Building)^^
  • Diploma of Building & Construction (Management)^^
*Certificate II, III, IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications that are already subsidised by Skills Tasmania or another funding source are ineligible to receive the Keystone rebate, unless otherwise noted
**Or 50% of course fee if already subsidised by Skills Tasmania or another funding source
